Making Intellectual Property profitable

Innovation and entrepreneurship both need a good intellectual property strategy. You can significantly stimulate growth by carefully mapping the cornerstones of your innovation that you ought to protect, and, of course, the ones that you had better not disclose. The balance between the two is key for any business.

We make intellectual property understandable and applicable

Inquirendi has plenty of expertise in coaching start-ups, scale ups and corporates, especially those companies that need to make the right choices for intellectual property with a limited budget

Inquirendi created a keynote 'secure your speedboat', to explain what makes your company a speedboat (in terms of disruption and shaking your sector) and how you can secure that speedboat with a limited IP budget.

Moreover, Inquirendi has developed its own workshops, such as the Lean Patent Canvas or the IP collaboration awareness role-play, to provide hands-on and product / process-oriented support.

We can help you in many ways:

Patents as inspiration

A patent database is filled with solutions for problems and inspiration for your development and/or design process.  Inquirendi diggs in these databases to give you an overview of your IP situation (competition, trends,...)  Not just a list of the number of patents, but a content analysis and a first check of patentability and freedom to operate.  It will give you a status of risks and opportunities.

Protection that pays off

You have a great idea, and you want to protect it efficiently. Inquirendi is there to think along with you. Securing your innovation costs money, but it also pays off if you do it right. Inquirendi always uses these 3 angles: scalability, tax optimization and anti-counterfeiting. This way, dealing with IP is not a cost but an investment that will pay off in the future.

Moreover, Inquirendi has its own unique Lean Patent Canvas to make your idea 10 times stronger, with a well-founded IP strategy plan as a bonus.

“A patent is a Grant, but inventorship is a Right. The strength of a patent doesn't come from its claims, it comes from the invention.”

The language of IP

Inquirendi acts as a sounding board, an interpreter, speaking both the language of innovation and of intellectual property. Inquirendi will help you understand IP activities and translate them to your own business context.

Inquirendi does not take the place of an IP agency, but acts as an intermediary so that you can establish an efficient collaboration leading to an adequate and profitable protection for your company. We help you with the interpretation of IP topics so that you fully understand the consequences and / or opportunities for your business.  Priority in any decision is its business value.

“I don't care that they stole my idea, I care that they don't have any of their own.”

IP management

Inquirendi helps companies take their first steps toward patents and property rights and supports them as an (interim) IP manager. Inquirendi helps you identify IP opportunities, creates a roadmap (including a cost benefit analysis), establishes partnerships with IP agencies and assists you with your first patent applications. This way, you can maximize your return on IP investments.

Inquirendi helps you to prepare for IP Due Dilligence.  It's better to be prepared when an investor or M&A wants to know more about your IP strategy.

“Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.”

Henry Ford

Collaborating

Collaborating and agreeing on intellectual property is not easy. To make this accessible and understandable, Inquirendi has developed its own IP Collaboration Awareness workshop. During this workshop, we will demonstrate the pain points by means of a role-play and show you how to draw up a balanced agreement, taking into account all partners, for both the development and successful commercialization of an innovative idea.
